My Path

Born and Raised in Tasmania, Australia, I became a dedicated practitioner of Bhakti Yoga (the path of devotion) in 1997.

I have lived in ashramas and served as a temple pujari (Vedic priestess) in 5 countries on 3 continents, all whilst raising 2 daughters myself until I married my husband, Nicholas, in 2019.

I was formally initiated into the Gaudiya Sampradaya in 2006 In Quebec, Canada by BA Paramdvaiti Swami, of the VRINDA parivar. He being a  disciple of Srila Bhakti Rakshak Shridhar Maharaja, of the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math.  

I am now a serving member of the International Sanatana Dharma Society. An organization in the Sri Vasinava Parampara, founded &  lead by esteemed Vedic scholar, Sanskritist and and spiritually enlightened master,  Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya.

My studies in Vedanta are a lifelong mission which will never cease, and through the ISDS I have been reunited with classical European philosophy and spiritual pantheons. I am currently studying these via various institutions and practitioner groups, and whilst my prior interests laid mainly in Ancient Greek and Roman history & mythology, my own ancestral lineage has now found me diving deeper into Celtic & Norse traditions. I also have an affinity for Japanese culture with it's vedic roots, and am an avid follower of Ōzumō : Grand Sumo league.

My love for learning has made me a perpetual student all of my life, as can be seen by my education and certifcations listed below.  I am presently in the 2nd year of my Doctor of Ayurveda studies, whilst simultaneously undertaking a Bachelor of Science in Integratrive Health.

In what little spare time I have, I am diving deeper into veterinarian studies, animal psychology and service dog training whilst actively training my own mobility assistance dog, Balrog (Bala) - a nod to the legendarium, as I am a lifelong Tolkienist . I am currently re-reading his works in Eä's chronological order, with my bookmark now sitting in The Children of Húrin.
